Delivery Information

We deliver your furniture in one of two ways to offer you the most convenient options depending on the items you order. Our two-man delivery service is perfect for orders of larger furniture where the team will position your furniture for you, whereas a standard delivery is often most convenient with smaller items. Both methods are explained in detail below:

Delivery Type
Two-Man Delivery
Our 2 man service is booked in with you by our UK delivery partner DHD. Delivery will be made to a room of choice and includes basic assembly plus removal of all packaging. It does not include assembly of wardrobes, bed frames or affixing of shelves and mirrors to walls. We are unable to offer this 2 man delivery service to customers who live outside mainland UK and Jersey. Standard Delivery
Our standard delivery is a courier service where goods are delivered to you on a pre-booked day of your choice. The team will deliver goods to your front door and you will need to sign for the packages and check them over for damage before the courier leaves. All furniture ordered from our clearance furniture items will be delivered by Standard Delivery, unless separately quoted. If you would like to discuss this further, please email enquires@tomschneider.co.uk.

Overseas delivery
We work with select international logistics companies so we can ship worldwide. If you live outside the UK and want to purchase our furniture, please contact us to obtain a delivery quotation before placing your order. We endeavour to respond in the shortest possible time so please get in touch with your requirements.

When will my order be ready?
All made to order items have an 8-10 week lead time for production and delivery to a UK address. If this lead time is shorter, we will be in touch to let you know goods will be with you earlier than expected. As both of our delivery options are pre-booked with you, you are kept in the loop with all delivery times. Clearance furniture in stock will usually be delivered in 2-4 weeks from the date of order.

Do you deliver items separately?
Orders made up of only ‘made to order’ furniture, or all clearance furniture will always be delivered together. If you order a mix between these two, then deliveries will be made separately and you will be contacted by both delivery teams to book these deliveries in.

Can my order be left in the garden/porch/shed?
No. All deliveries must be accepted in person, checked over for any possible damage in transit and signed for.

Is there anything I need to know before ordering?
Remember to check that packaged goods will fit through all entryways on the way to its final destination. It is your responsibility to check over packaging and your items whilst the delivery team is there, so you can be happy that they have arrived without damage.
If you notice any issues please flag this to the delivery team, note any damage found on the delivery note and call us immediately on 020 8446 9700 to discuss how you would like to proceed. No claim can be made after the day of the delivery.
If you do not want to accept the unpacking service offered by our 2-man delivery service and want to unpack the items at a later date, please inform us prior to delivery date to advise and sign for the goods as unchecked. Failure to do this may void your claim.
